On the dvd:

The dvd was originally aired on MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups 11/2004.
This cd/dvd set was put out by MTV not Linkin Park.

Collision Course came about when MTV heard a "mash-up" created by www.al-b3.com of Lp's "One Step Closer" and Jay-Z's "99 Problems", which got a lot of airplay on NY's rock radio station Krock. MTV got in contact w/ Jay-Z who then contacted Linkin Park. Contrary to what most people think this wasn't a project that Jay-Z "chose" Linkin Park for. The original mix MTV heard WAS Jay-Z and LP, which prompted the whole thing. The original mash up Alb3 made is not the same as the one on Collision Course. Alb3 was invited to the recording studio with Lp and Jay-Z for Collision Course but other then that, he didn't get much credit (not surprisingly). So check out his site.

The Collision Course songs were not only performed in CA but also at Projekt Revolution - Holmdel, NJ - 7/30/04.
