"i got to the venue 7 hours early so i could meet them before the show. brad walked out of the bus and there were only about 5 poeple on my side of the street, and no one knew who he was and i wasnt sure if it was him, so i followed him down the block, he signed my stuff and we talked for 2-3 mins cause he had to go. an hour later a minivan comes with some pheonix, chester, mike and i think joe.at that time i talked to all of them but pheonix, i gave chester pink jelly beans. hes really down to earth and easy to talk to. i had a late birthday card for mike, i gave it to him and his eyes lit up, he had to dorp off the stuff on the bus but as he was walking out i see him reading my card hes was all smiles. they went to do a sound check afterwards, and we got a lil preview it was awesome. later joe and pheonix come out and i got to talk to him for a little. i had pictures with all of them, but some idiot knocked the camera out of my hand. so there go the pictures. alien ant farm was ok, i dont really know their songs so i was in the front for the hell of it, taproot was pretty good, stephen did a balcony jump,and sang a song in the pit, props for that stephen. lp is about to come on and suddenly the pit gets shit crowded, and i cant breathe all that well, so i tough it out, they start out with 'with you' and after that i just didnt pay attention to the show, i was trying to get air..i heard bits and pieces for crawling, high voltage, and one, points of authority. mike played guitar for some of the songs like crawling, and he got in the pit during another song. in between i was grasping for air until i found my way to the side and someone brought me backstage to the injured area. i get a oxygen mask and some water, sitting backstage and breathing thru a mask. i was on the verge of crying knowing that i couldnt see them live, and they were right there. and it broke my heart. i sat there until they came back from signing stuff and i saw chester, brad, mike and joe, i took out my ticket stub and wanted to hand it! to them, but some gaurd was screaming at me to go the other way, so i didnt get my ticket stub signed. and thats my story."
