I went to LP's concert on November 18th /2001. It was the best day of my life! i was really psyched cuz Swollen Members was opening for LP and i absolutly love them! It was in Vancouver BC, Canada. When we got to the venue we had to wait in line and this security guard guy told us we weren't allowed cameras but i snuck mine in anyways in my purse. We were standing in line right beside the Swollen Members tour bus (they're a hip hop group consisting of 2 MC's Mad Child and Prevail ) There was a few guys that kept coming in and out of the bus and we talked to them a bit, they were killer nice. Then finally the ppl let us in to the building(it was freezing outside btw) We went upstairs cuz we had upper balcony seats :( but it was a super small venue, it only held like, 500 ppl. We weren't allowed to go to our seats yet but we sneeked in and found our seats, and saw a couple of ppl on the stage and 2 of them were the ppl we talked to at the Swollen Members tour bus! they were tech ppl or something cuz they were setting up the turn tables. then we got kicked out by the guard ppl. but then we were finally let to go to our seats, we waited about 10 min and then a guy came on stage and put like 10 plastic cups of beer on the table that the turn table was on for Mad Child lol. Swollen Members came on and raped like 4 songs and threw beer all over the crowd and then left back stage. Then we had to wait about 15 min. while the tech ppl for LP set up the stage for them. Finally LP came out and blew everyone away. They were so totally awsome!!!!! they sang every song off of their album Hybrid Theory and also "my december" and "carousel". Chester had BLUE hair!!! aww so cute! he was going crazy! climbing up on the speaker thingy(i think it was a speaker but it might have been just part of the set) during "in the end" and sang the slow part on the speaker and right at the part where he starts to yell and go crazy he jumped off the speaker like at least 6 ft! it was amazing. mike was awsome too. We were jumping on our seats like crazy!!! ppl got mad at us but we were just like f*ck you! we didnt care what they said.After the concert was over, we went outside and Prevail was signing autographs so i got him to sign my ticket stub and my Swollen Members poster. He was really nice. i will never forget that night ever!!! my pics didnt really turn out :( but its all good. i can't wait for them to come back!!!!!!
