I went to the concert with my friend’s Jenny, Miccaz and Stonie We found our door and started to wait it was about 6:40 when we got there, fifty minutes to wait, but that went so quick, there where so many people around and we some how managed to get in third! We quickly made our way to the stage but we weren’t allowed to stand on the barrier. We found Micca and Stonie. Then all of a sudden we ran to the barrier, everyone else did! We had a really good view. It was about 7:30 and Jenny and me just talked till about 8:00 when 1200 Techniques came out. They where pretty good, Jenny says the singer has a nice ass! At about 9:00 Sunk Loto came on, they sucked, I was a fan of them before then. I was yawning that’s how bad they were. I was getting short of breath because my chest was being pushed against the barrier so I move to my side. Me and Jenny where just standing there waiting, yet again! I was just looking at the stage when I saw a guy with Brad’s guitar and he put it down and grabbed another guitar that looked like Mike’s one he uses in the crawling video then I saw Joe. He was the first member I saw he did a small scratching then left. At about 9:45 Joe and Rob came out, the crowd, Jenny and me went crazy, yelling and screaming, Then Brad and Phoenix came out and so did another scream from the crowd. The four where there for ten minutes setting up. Then we saw them Mike followed by Chester. I don’t think I have ever screamed so loud in my life! At this point I was so excited and pumped I cant remember exactly what happened next, I know that they sung With You first then Runaway then Papercut at the start of Papercut Chester jumped of the drum stage, Both Mike, Chester and Phoenix where about ten 10cm’s away. Then a heap of other songs. Somewhere Chester said 'This is the biggest show we’ve had' and that the mosh pit loved him, he was right, we did! Then they had a break except Joe, he did a little thing on the turntable then they came back out and there was an Australian flag on the turntable box that fell down as the rest of the band came back out. Chester grabbed the flag and warped it around him. He started to dirty dance with it! Chester then said 'we are going back to when we where just a theory, this song is called ‘and one’ they sung and one then a few more song’s. They finished with One Step Closer Just before the sung one step closer Mike said 'that’s all, we have to go now' the crowd went mad, Mike was like 'what you don’t want us to go...what we haven’t sung... what oh one step closer' Chester said 'Do you want us to sing one step closer' the crowed went mad 'well we better because it’s the only song we have left' once they finished and left the stage Jenny and I had smiles from ear to ear. We were just waiting for everyone behind us when the members of Linkin Park started to come down and started to sign things. The first member we met was Brad, the main thing that’s stuck in my mind about his was his accent, and it was so strong. Then it was Phoenix, The main thing about him was he looked at me funny, I didn’t like it! Then it was Rob, the main thing about him was just how cute he was in real life, and the posters don’t do him justice. Then I saw Mike, Jenny’s favorite member she wasn’t looking at him, so I made her. I don’t know why but I can’t really remember more then his smile, so nice. At this time I was wondering where Joe was. But then Chester came closer, he’s my favorite. HE SHOOK MY HAND!!! I like to tell people that. He also shook Jenny’s hand. After he moved past us I started to wonder where Joe was. Phoenix came back followed by Rob then Mike. Rob stood and talked to the group of people around Jenny, and me he stood right in front of me for about 10 minutes!! A girl next to Jenny asked Rob if he would talk to her friend that couldn’t come to the concert, and he did!!! But she wasn’t home! Mike did it too but I was too far away to hear him. I still hadn’t seen Joe. At about 10:40 the security started to get everyone to leave but I wasn’t going anywhere without Joe’s autograph! Then I saw him I left Jenny and gave him my piece of paper, I think I scared him with it, sorry. Then I went back to Jenny she was getting Mike to sign her top, then we left, but on our way out we bought a Linkin Park top. As we were walking out we both said our tops were so wet. We met up with Micca and Stonie. We were on the biggest natural high anyone could be. Because you weren’t allowed to take photos I only got two, and Chester water bottle to! It was the best night ever. I still had the burse on my side the next week.
