I recently went to the LP Underground concert in San Francisco, CA on March
23. Me and my sis got a ride from our parents to the Warfield, only to find
that the line was around the block! So we waited. Finally, after some time,
we got in right in time for openers Blinside. They were tight. After they
were done, there was some time before LP would come out. So we waited again.
10 minutes passed, so we waited. Finally the lights dimmed and we saw Joe
get up on this turn tables and scrathed for us. That was the beginning.
Song the rest of LP was out and rocking! Their first 3 songs were from
Meteora, including Somewhere I Belong. Then they started performing classics
like PaperCut, Points of Authority, In the End, etc. After awhile, they said
'Thanks San Francisco!' and left! I was like, "That's it?!" After like 5
minutes, they rushed back out and started playing again. It was sooooo
sweet.
They ended their concert with One Step Closer. They stayed on the stage and
met some fans, but me and my sis didn't get the chance, as we had seat
tickets. Instead, we got as many people as we could and yelled, "MIKE!" (as
he was the closet one to us). Mike looked up and nodded at us.
As we were walking out of the concert, my sis and I got our T-shirts signed
by Blindside. It was the greatest concert EVER!
